Sport Rehab/ Performance

When working with recreational, competitive and professional athletes, our first course of action is to find the root cause of pain and eliminate it. If pain is present, your performance is compromised. When you have pain or get injured your body adapts and compensates, which leads to inhibition of joints and muscles. Pain is not a signal you can train through. Overtime your body learns this new way of compensation and dysfunctional movement; this then becomes a new motor pattern, thus continuing a cycle of pain and dysfunction and your performance suffers.   Sound familiar? I use a whole body integrated approach to help you resolve your pain and improve your quality of life and movement once again!

Here are just some of the conditions we can address:

• Ankle sprains

• Muscle imbalance and pain

• Muscle activation

• Rotator cuff injuries

• Knee and back pain

• Head and neck pain

• And more..

At Optimumbody.ie, I use a number of advanced techniques to eliminate pain, improve performance, and restore healthy movement.
