Back problems, slipped discs and other related issues are common ailments I deal with. The site of pain is rarely the actual cause, this is usually symptomatic of problems in another location. I have also accomplished many other qualifications such as Nerve & Artery Release, Manual Muscle Therapy, Anatomy in Motion, Neuromuscular Testing, Trigger Point Dry Needling and Personal Training to name but a few. I have also looked after elderly people and those with severe muscular injuries.
Injury, inhibition, bad posture to compensate and adapt sets in after foot injuries, along with poor movement this becomes a lifetime habit, with a downward spiral eventually leading to pain. In the brain there is a motor control centre, where all movement patterns are coordinated, so to move, messages are sent from the control centre via the spine and to the muscles where movement then takes place. Finding the right combination of nerves and arteries to release can be the missing key to addressing your pain. Special Focus is given to the treatment of trigger points, local ischemia, neural interference, postural and biomechanical dysfunction, nutritional factors, and emotional well being. Anatomy in Motion is an amazing assessment and correction protocol for gait (walking) analysis and foot function.
It takes on average three to five visits to fix most problems, but chronic habits can take a bit longer. Please come dressed in athletic wear, t-shirts and shorts are ideal.

After putting up with Groin Pain every time I played Hurling for over 8 Months ~ After 1 session with the man himself, my whole perspective shifted, number 1 on how we view pain & actual 'injuries' themselves and number 2, my pain kindly f**ked off which was the main thing :) A man at the top of his game that continues to progress & perfect his craft & knowledge of the human body. If you've been trying and getting no where - or just been told to 'stretch and you'll be grand' kinda thing in the past - I'm confident Ronnie will sort you. There's 3 people in the Physio World that I recommend around Galway and Ronnie is one of those 3.
