Surgery is not inevitable with the right treatment from a professional KMI like myself. The site of pain is rarely the actual cause, this is usually symptomatic of problems in another location. At Optimum Body, I use a number of advanced techniques to resolve pain, improve performance, and restore healthy movement. Everyone in their lives experience pain, whether it is for a few day or years! Pain is often not the problem but rather a signal, to resolve your pain, the actual source needs to be found, which is sometimes distant to the site of pain.
We teach the human body to utilise each and every joint in the planes of movement by introducing joints and structures to their full range of motion potential with and gait specific movements. In the brain there is a motor control centre, where all movement patterns are coordinated, so to move, messages are sent from the control centre via the spine and to the muscles where movement then takes place. By testing and retesting muscles in relation to each other, we learn which muscles are chronically tight to brace for weaker and inhibited muscles. Special Focus is given to the treatment of trigger points, local ischemia, neural interference, postural and biomechanical dysfunction, nutritional factors, and emotional well being. Muscle testing is an excellent modality in rehabilitation and manual therapy because it not only identifies the cause of pain and dysfunction, but also corrects it very quickly and painlessly.
Your visit to Optimum body should not be painful in any way! Please come dressed in athletic wear, t-shirts and shorts are ideal.
I have a persistent shoulder problem going back many, many moons. I have been to several physios with some better than others, but none providing any lasting improvement. Ronnie uses an interesting technique where he tries to determine the source of weakness through analysing the pathways to the brain and then attempting to unblock the sludge within these pathways. Looks kinda silly when he is doing it, but it seems to work. My shoulder is far from perfect (need to go back for another session) but it is definitely a major improvement from what it was. Also, Ronnie has helped me improve mot posture and walking gait, which has had tremendous overall benefits
