At Optimum Body, I use a number of advanced techniques to resolve pain, improve performance, and restore healthy movement. Everyone in their lives experience pain, whether it is for a few day or years! Back problems, slipped discs and other related issues are common ailments I deal with. I have also looked after elderly people and those with severe muscular injuries. I have also accomplished many other qualifications such as Nerve & Artery Release, Manual Muscle Therapy, Anatomy in Motion, Neuromuscular Testing, Trigger Point Dry Needling and Personal Training to name but a few.
I also handle muscle spasms and headaches. I treat fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck, knee and back pain, sports injuries, muscle injuries and joint problems. By testing and retesting muscles in relation to each other, we learn which muscles are chronically tight to brace for weaker and inhibited muscles. Injury, inhibition, bad posture to compensate and adapt sets in after foot injuries, along with poor movement this becomes a lifetime habit, with a downward spiral eventually leading to pain. Anatomy in Motion is an amazing assessment and correction protocol for gait (walking) analysis and foot function.
It takes on average three to five visits to fix most problems, but chronic habits can take a bit longer. Please come dressed in athletic wear, t-shirts and shorts are ideal.
Having had a couple of motorcycle accidents and working at a sedentary job for years my back had started to seize up. I had classic sciatica pain down one leg and also down one arm when I lay on my back. I spent a couple of hours with Ronnie going through everything and basically learning to walk properly again. Ronnie is very honest, refreshingly so. He gave me a set of very simple exercises which only take a few minutes a day and basically told me to keep moving...
